What is Fetchit?
We are a meal delivery subscription service based on a wholefood, cooked diet for dogs. Our team of chefs and nutritionists work together to design balanced meals containing the optimal amount of high quality protein and fresh and nutrient-dense produce to help guide your dog into a long and happy life.
We deliver fresh, delicious meals straight to doggy doors- providing you with incredible convenience, and your dog the nutrition and sustenance they need and deserve.
Are your meals fresh?
All meals are cooked fresh on the Monday prior to delivery. All ingredients are fresh and sourced directly from the supplier the day of the cook.
How are your meals cooked?
Each meal is slow cooked and steamed in order to preserve the nutritional value of the ingredients.
Where are your meals cooked?
We are based in Sydney! All our meals are cooked out of our human-grade production kitchen.
How do I store your meals?
We recommend freezing half of your pups meals, refrigerating the other half, and work on a rotating cycle of frozen in, as fresh goes out.
How long do your meals last for?
In the fridge, The Pesco has a 3 to 4-day shelf life, and the Beefin and Chookies have a 5 to 7-day shelf life. You can freeze your meals and consume them at a later date. In the freezer, meals can last up to 1 year.
What happens if my dog has food allergies?
A full list of our ingredients are available here. Please let us know at checkout if your dog has any food allergies or dietary requirements, or reach out to us at email@example.com. Additionally, consult with your vet to make sure you’re meeting your dog’s nutritional needs and healthcare requirements.
Can I re-heat my pups meals?
Yes, you can choose to re-heat. Cut open a corner of the vacuum sealed bag prior to microwaving to allow steam to escape.
What happens if I am not happy with my purchase or delivery?
If you (or your pup) are for some reason unhappy with your purchase or delivery, please let us know. We would be more than happy to work with you to rectify the situation. Get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What is the Taster Pack?
The Taster Pack is our one-time purchase offer. It includes one of each of our 3 recipes and a pack of Bell & Bone dog treats and dental sticks.
How do the meal plans work?
The meal plans are a subscription-based purchase. You can choose between a fortnightly (14 meals, delivered every 2 weeks) or a monthly (28 meals, delivered every 4 weeks) meal plan. Simply choose the recipe variety and portion size.
Alternatively, we offer a one-off purchase of 14 meals.
How do I choose the correct portioning?
Each dog is unique, and the caloric requirements and amount of food needed for each pup will vary depending on a bunch of factors including age, breed, activity level, metabolism and health conditions.
Visit our Portion Guide to view our general guidelines for portioning. If you are unsure which portion size is best, we are here to help and happy to work with you to allocate the perfect portion for him or her!
We also recommend consulting with your vet to make sure your meeting your dog’s nutritional needs and healthcare requirements.
Which payments do you accept?
We currently accept payments via credit card, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal.
Do I need to sign up to a contract?
We have NO lock in contracts or subscription obligations, so you can give us a try and opt out at any time.
When is the delivery cut-off date?
Our cooking and delivery cycle operates on a fortnightly basis. Order by Saturday to recieve your meals on Tuesday, either 3 or 10 days later.
When will I receive my order?
At Fetchit we deliver fresh on Tuesday’s to Sydney Metro areas. If you would like delivery a specific time, we are happy to accommodate! Please let us know via email or Instagram (@fetchit_au).
If you live outside of the Sydney Metro area, deliveries will arrive by Wednesday.
Do you have a delivery fee?
We currently deliver FREE to postcodes within the Sydney Metro area.
If you live outside of this zone, we can still deliver via overnight courier. A small delivery charge of $6 will be added after your purchase. Orders will be received by Wednesday.
What happens if I receive the incorrect order or item?
Contact us at email@example.com or reach out to us on Instagram and we will rectify the situation for you.
How does your subscription work?
Once you have selected to set up a recurring order by ordering our selection of meal plans, you will receive the same order every 2 or 4 weeks without without having to manually reorder your meals.
How do I modify my subscription?
You can log in to your account and manually edit your order, address, delivery dates and credit card details via the 'Manage Subscriptions' option.
You can also log in to your account and manually pause specific week(s) or cancel your account. Ensure you pause or cancel your account before the next pay cycle, as it does not change the order that has already been processed.
Alternatively, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org and we can edit everything for you.
How do I add special instructions to my pups meal plan or change my profile?
Prior to checkout, there is space for you to tell us about your pup and add special requests. Don't hesitate to send us an email at email@example.com with any questions or requests! We will make the necessary adjustments and will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
When does payment process?
Payment will come out of your nominated credit card on Friday's.
Can I add a discount code to a recurring order?
You can log in to your account and click 'Manage Subscriptions.' Click 'Apply Discount Code' to input your special code.
Alternatively, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org and we can apply the discount.
What happens if my payment fails?
If your payment fails, your order will not be processed and you will receive an email notification. We will reattempt payment from your nominated credit card the following day.
Are there any cancellation fees?
There are NO lock-ins or cancellation fees, so you are able to pause or cancel your subscription at any time.
If you would like to refund your subscription you must do so by Friday. If your order has already been processed and you request a refund due to change of mind, abrupt cancellation reasons (ie. you didn't think you made a recurring account) or unforeseen circumstances occur, send us an email at email@example.com and we will rectify the situation.
